What are Tongue Twisters?

A tongue twister is a sequence of words that is difficult to pronounce quickly.The hardest tongue-twister in the English language is supposedly:- The sixth sick sheikh's sixth sheep's sick

Don't feel bad if you have difficulty in saying some of the tongue-twisters below, even native English speakers find them difficult.

  1. A noisy noise annoys an oyster. 
  2.  A proper copper coffee pot.
  3. A skunk sat on a stump and thunk the stump stunk,but the stump thunk the skunk stunk.
  4.  A Tudor who tooted a flute tried to tutor two tooters to toot.Said the two to their tutor,"Is it harder to toot or to tutor two tooters to toot?"
  5.  Around the rugged rocks the ragged rascals ran.
  6.  Betty Batter had some butter,"But," she said, "this butter's bitter.If I bake this bitter butter,it would make my batter bitter.But a bit of better butter--that would make my batter better."So she bought a bit of butter,better than her bitter butter,and she baked it in her batter,and the batter was not bitter.So 'twas better Betty Botterbought a bit of better butter.
